At Young Kempt Physiotherapy and Massage Therapy Centre, located in Halifax, Nova Scotia our goal with each individual
patient is to help you achieve a life you can enjoy. From playing
with your grandchildren to running a marathon, no goal is too large

your way. With today"s technical advances, aches and pains that restricted
your activity in the past can be overcome. We physiotherapists at
Young Kempt Physiotherapy and Massage Therapy Centre are passionate about our work and have
been providing the highest quality patient care since we opened in
August 2002 . We are constantly furthering our education with post
graduate courses to stay on top of the latest advances in rehabilitation.
Our physiotherapists have worked hard to achieve international certification
in orthopaedic physiotherapy.

A thorough assessment to determine an accurate diagnosis
An individualized treatment plan including:
- Manual therapy (hands on) techniques to increase joint movement
and muscle flexibility
- Therapeutic equipment such as ultrasound, laser, electrical stimulation,
acupuncture to reduce pain and inflammation in the injured area
- A specific exercise program designed to meet your needs and abilities
to help regain strength and movement
- Education about your condition so you understand how to manage
it
- Discharge in a reasonable length of time with a home program
Young Kempt Physiotherapy and Massage Therapy Centre offers convenient hours of operation from 7:00 am to
8:30 pm. We have ample free parking. We are located at 6061 Young St. Halifax
