(She/Her)
Lisa is a Registered Massage Therapist with a passion for helping active individuals recover from injury, improve movement, and perform at their best. She has extensive experience working with athletes of all levels and has spent the past decade as the resident Massage Therapist and Coach at Ironstone Strength & Conditioning.
Lisa has completed advanced training in sports massage, cupping therapy, Graston Technique®, and RockTape Fascial Movement Taping, allowing her to tailor treatment plans to each individual’s goals and activity demands. Her treatments combine deep tissue techniques, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and movement-based rehabilitation to improve tissue quality, reduce pain, and restore function.
With a strong athletic background in track and field, volleyball, equestrian, rugby, and CrossFit, Lisa understands firsthand the physical demands of training and competition. She currently plays rugby with the Halifax Rugby Football Club and the Nova Scotia Keltics, giving her a unique perspective on injury prevention, recovery, and performance.
Lisa enjoys working with a wide variety of patients, from competitive athletes to active individuals looking to stay healthy and moving well. Whether your goal is returning to sport, recovering from an injury, or addressing everyday aches and pains, she is committed to helping you move better and get back to doing what you love.
Outside of the clinic, Lisa is also a Paramedic with Halifax Regional Fire & Emergency, where she continues to serve her community while bringing valuable frontline healthcare experience to her practice.
Lisa sees patients at our Ironstone Strength & Conditioning satellite clinic, where she works alongside the Young Kempt Physiotherapy team to provide integrated rehabilitation and performance-focused care.
